The Zayed School Rules and Regulations
As a private school, the following rules apply to all parents/guardians who pay fees and other charges for their children: –- To accept that the responsibility of the day to day running of the school and the children Centre is the Board of Governors.
- The Board of Governors is mandated to set the agenda of the institution within a consultative forum but reserves the right of veto. This will include such issues as: –
- Fees and fee guidelines.
- Disciplinary cases.
- Physical development of the school.
- Hiring and firing of the employees both teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Discipline of pupils.
- The conduct of parents and all the employees.
- All the employees, parents, pupils are expected to follow Islamic teachings as prescribed in the Qur’an and Hadith.
- Parents to refrain from any acts of disloyalty, incitement, defiance which could lead to cause of instability in the institution. Any one found to engage in any such an act will be asked to leave the institution and seek alternative places for their children and themselves.
- The school shall convene and parents shall attend all meetings from time to time when called for at class level or for the whole school to discuss academic performance and general welfare of the pupils.
- During such meetings suggestions from parents will be highly appreciated.
- Other means of communication shall be in the form of circulars and through diaries.
- Any parents who feels aggrieved is free to channel his/her grievances to the Principal in the first instance or to the Board of Governors through the Director.
- All parents from outside who sponsor their children in the school are expected to pay fees on time.
- The school does not offer any bursary to any self sponsored pupils.
- All new pupils will be subjected to an interview whose standard shall be set by the Board of Governors and only those who qualify on merit will be admitted.
- The Board of Governors reserves the right of admission and expulsion.
- A pupil shall only be promoted to the next academic class on attaining the minimum grade as determined by the Board and agreed by the parents.
